I am currently working at Amazon as Operations Intern. Internship is project-based and built around the crucible experience of solving a challenging, real-world problem impacting the site and network.
Topic of my project is reduction of one of process’s error in order to improve quality and check possibility of rate improvement. To achieve it, I performed dive deep analysis of process and the individual factors contributing to the error, data analysis along with cross site interviews, surveys and cooperation with operation and support departments. Final step is proposal of recommended solutions and its implementations.
Being a part of the Process Engineering team in such a global company is always challenging. In my daily job, I always look forward to new learning opportunities. My day to day duties included maintenance of production lines, statistical process control, supported by computer software as well as components and software commissioning and optimization of the production processes.
I was responsible for designing, testing, and implementing new solutions that were improving the capability of production lines. I held the process from the very first sketch until the final implementation under the authority of my supervisors. The experience I gained during my period in WABCO, makes me feel proud and ready for new challenges.
As a Toyota Intern, I had a fantastic opportunity to work in the Production Automation Division. I was the only newcomer who got a chance to work with such an innovative and experienced team.
During 3-month internship I participated in many training and coaching sessions where I gained knowledge in topic of e.g. Just in Time, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S. I also get to know other departments and their workflow.
I believe cross-division cooperation is one of the most difficult and at the same time exciting part of the job.
The atmosphere and outstanding organization of the
Japanese company revealed to me how important work culture is and will definitely help me in facing challenges in the future.
During my period at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Poland, I mainly gained practical skills and knowledge and learned a lot about the automotive industry.
I am sure it was one of the turning points in my career.
I’m ready to venture into new challenges. If you think I will fit into your team and at the same time my skills are handy, I’m open to talk!
